Wow, it’s been so hot this week! I *heart* air conditioning…
We’ve had some fantastic storms, as you may have seen on the news. I spent a good amount of time cowering under the porch in the house avoiding the huge hailstones while watching the incredible lightning storm a few miles down the road.
We also had a callout a few days ago – the police asked if we could assist with a body recovery. So we headed up and helped them recover the remains of a recent suicide. Not the most fun of callouts.
Next weekend is a BBQ at the house of one of the lads from the team. Sean’s coming up for the weekend, *bouncebounce* so we’ll go over together. They were quite polite to him last time they met him, so I’m hoping for wife-induced politeness again. 🙂 We’ll see.
Hrm. I need to get my BBQ sorted…
