So, last night was much fun after a long hard day at work.
One of the project managers’ who’d been aroudn for some time was leaving yesterday so we went out and had a few drinks. I bowed out after one and headed off up to base for training.
Last night was a medical night. So Andrew had acquired a doll that was similar to Resusci-Annie, but was far more realistic and we had much fun trying out various oral and nasal airways and seeing how efficient they were. The doll was significant in that the head was a far closer approximation to a real head than the really light Annie. He also brought along some sheeps throats and we had a go at putting in surgical airways – not because we can do it, but it was interesting to watch and have a go.
Yay. I really like this stuff.
